Thinking about selling your house… but not ready to move out right away?
At Sell2Rent, we help Georgia homeowners sell their homes fast and as-is, and stay in them as renters for a few extra weeks while they get things in order.
It’s called a sale-leaseback, and here’s how it works (don’t worry, we keep it simple):
You sell your home to an investor for cash, and then you rent it back for a short period, usually 30 to 60 days.
You get the money, you avoid the hassle of showings or repairs, and you don’t have to pack up immediately. Win-win.
We keep it straightforward, but here are a few things you should know:
You can stay in your home for up to 60 days after closing. Sometimes longer, but we’ll help make sure it works for everyone.
Once you sell, you’ll pay rent during the time you stay—usually based on what homes like yours rent for in the area. Nothing crazy.
We’ll give you a simple lease agreement that spells out everything: how long you can stay, what rent you’ll pay, who handles utilities, and what happens if you need more time.
If there’s a mortgage involved on the buyer’s side, we’ll make sure everything’s legal and lender-approved. You don’t need to worry about the technical stuff—we’ve got it.
Not much—if everyone follows the plan.
Just make sure you move out on time, keep the place clean, and follow the agreement. We’ll do the same.
We’re not just about selling your home—we’re about giving you options.
Whether you need cash fast, want to stay while you figure out your next move, or just don’t want to deal with a traditional sale—we’ve helped homeowners like you all over Georgia.
Let us know how long you’d like to stay after selling—and we’ll take care of the rest.
